The West Bengal government extended covid restrictions from June 14 in the state till July 1st. Mamata Banerjee has widened the relaxations to allow the restarting of some economic activities in the states.
Government and private offices will reopen, with 25 percent staff strength. In private/corporate offices, the timings have been restricted from 10 am to 4 pm, and an e -pass will be required by the attendees.
The restaurants and bars will be allowed to operate from 12 pm to 8 pm with a 50 percent seating capacity. The timing in the previous order for the restaurants was different.
Parks will be open from 6 am to 9 am for three hours in the morning. Only those who have taken the COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed entry inside the parks.
All bazaars and markets will remain open between 7 to 11 am. Other retail shops will remain open between 11 to 6 pm.
Malls are allowed to open from 11 to 6 pm with 30% capacity. Games and sports can restart without spectators
Gyms, beauty parlors, and cinema halls will remain shut. All schools/academic institutions will also remain shut. All intra-state buses will remain closed until further notice.
