Bharatiya Janata Party’s Hard Hindutva face Yogi Adityanath has joined the fiery campaign for Delhi Election 2020. Now that the tone has been set for the campaign, Yogi is walking up the road directed by Amit Shah. He launched a more fierce attack, of malicious intentions on Shaheen Bagh protestors. The Uttar Pradesh CM, too, could not help himself for mentioning the ‘Goli’ chant started by senior BJP leaders. The Bharatiya Janata Party now completely dominates the narrative of Delhi Assembly Election 2020.
Shaheen Bagh Protest Against Ram Mandir, Article 370
While addressing a rally a few Kilometers away from the Shaheen Bagh protest site. Yogi Adityanath said that the intention of protests is to oppose the Ram Mandir of Ayodhya and scrapping of Article 370. The polarization then moved to blame Arvind Kejriwal and he brought the ‘Biryani’ to the limelight. While Addressing the Rally of about 15,000 people, Yogi urged people to choose a government that ‘Feeds Biryani to the Protestors’ or ‘ the one that believes in Development.
Goli for Kanwariya Attackers
Yogi has also referred to the Kanwar Yatra in his rally. Kanwariyas as in the Devotees of Lord Shiva. They hold an annual pilgrimage that had experienced clashes with the pedestrians in the past. The UP CM said that we don’t obstruct anyone’s faith. Therefore those meddling with the Kanwariya should be dealt with bullets if they don’t listen to words. Yogi Adityanath is the third BJP leader mentioning the bullet remark in the Delhi Election 2020.
Attacks on Kejriwal and AAP Demanding Ban on Yogi
Reaching the rally one hour after the scheduled time, Adityanath held the Shaheen Bagh protestors accountable for the delay. Further, strengthening the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal. Yogi said that Kejriwal is the first one to feel the pain whenever the Modi government does any good for the country. Taking a jibe at Kejriwal’s coughing, Yogi added that the Delhi’s people have started coughing like him. Because the Delhi CM is unable to control the pollution and the Yamuna water is dirty. He concluded his speech with the slogan ‘Jai Shree Ram’.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party has sought a ban on Yogi Adinatyath for the Campaign of Delhi Assembly Election 2020. AAP has urged the same to Election commission citing the provocative speeches of Arvind Kejriwal. Sanjay Singh said that an FIR should be registered against Yogi for the hate remarks.
Delhi is set to vote on 8 February while the results will be declared on February 11, 2020.
