New Delhi: Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi brings medical services to the doorstep with his new mantra “Jahan Bimar Wahi Upchar” to fight against Covid-19. The sole objective of this initiative is to reduce the burden on healthcare systems by offering home delivery of medicines and services right at the doorstep of patients, even for those who hail in micro containment zones.

On Friday, PM Modi interacted with officials of the Parliamentary constituency and the doctors via a video conferencing session. Modi paid tributes to all those who have lost their lives while fighting with the mutant virus. He got emotional while confronting the officials, tears rolled down his eyes while he expressed his grief about losing our loved ones.

Modi’s new innovative initiative, “Jahan Bimar Wahi Upchar” is dedicated to improving the conditions in rural areas as well. He is introducing a “Kaashi Kavach” teleportal service that will bring doctors, paramedical staff, laboratories, and e-market services in one place. Modi has urged the healthcare workers to engage and focus on rural districts, as a start. Adding to this thought, he also requested the doctors and health care staff to conduct meetings, training sessions, webinars in the rural districts.

He also applauded the hard work and dedicated efforts of the frontline workers and saluted doctors, nurses, technicians, ambulance drivers who are doing a commendable job to serve the needy.

Modi also spoke about the importance of getting vaccinated on priority to fight this ongoing war against Covid-19. During his interaction, he also cautioned the citizens about the newly emerged epidemic “Black Fungus” virus and requested the health care officials to work with the same sensitivity and vigilance.

With a proactive approach, adequate supply of medicines, oxygen beds, and ventilators, we can triumph the battle to fight against the pandemic.
