Along with the Congress‘s return to power in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made massive administrative changes. Ashok Gehlot has transferred 40 IAS officers in administrative reshuffle as soon as the command of Rajasthan is over. With this, eight officials of Rajasthan Administrative Service have been transferred. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has appointed the Chief Secretary of the Department of Tourism and Forests Kuldeep Ranka as the Secretary to the Chief Minister. So far, Tanmay Kumar was employed in this post, who has now been removed from the post of Secretary and has been given the charge of commissioner irrigated area development in Bikaner.

Kuldeep Ranka has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary of the RICO along with the post of secretary. Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has appointed Ajitabh Sharma and Rajan Vishal as secretary and joint secretary to the chief minister. At the same time, Dr. Devaram Saini, former colleague of Ashok Gehlot, has been given the post of the Chief Officer at the Chief Minister’s Office. It is worth mentioning that Devaram Saini was working as Ashok Gehlot’s special assistant at the time of Chief Minister’s post.

Apart from this, Ashok Gehlot has appointed Mukesh sharma, additional chief secretary, excise and taxation, as chairman of the Revenue Board in Ajmer, and additional chief secretary Rajeeva Swarup, who headed the industries department, will now head the home department. Similarly, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Home, Defense, Jail and Rajasthan State Bureau of Investigation have been transferred to the post of Industries and State Undertakings and Additional Chief Secretary of the NRI, Rajeev Swaroop.

New Govenment 

The new government of Rajasthan has appointed Sudarshan Sethi as Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Environment and Mines Department Giriraj Singh has been appointed as chairman of the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal, Veenu Gupta, who till now headed the health and family department, will now be additional chief secretary PWD and chairman of the Rajasthan State Road Development Corporation. Dr. Subodh Agrawal have been transferred to the post of Additional Chief Secretary Industries and DMIC and State Undertakings and Non-Resident Indians Department. Ashok Gehlot has also transferred Singh Nehra of Inter-Ministerial Administration of Rajasthan, while he and Shahin Ali Khan have now been given the charge of Joint Secretary Chief Minister.
