In Telangana Assembly Elections, all political parties are engaged in preparing for the return of power. With this, the politics of Hindu-Muslim is also at its peak. The politics of the Muslim community in Telangana’s politics has its own importance. Elections in India are more based on caste equation than development. Muslim voters in the assembly elections to be held on December 7 in Telangana will be in the role of Kingmaker. According to political experts, the fate of 40 percent of the candidates in 119 assembly constituencies will be decided by 13 percent Muslim voters. The majority of this population lives in Hyderabad. There is a large number of this minority communities in Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar.

Almost all the districts of Telangana have a large number of Muslim voters.  According to the Telangana Social Development Report 2017, 17.3 lakh Muslims live in Hyderabad alone, making up about fourth of the city’s population and 43.5 per cent of the state’s Muslim population. There are 24 assembly seats in the city, out of which 10 results can be influenced by Muslim voters.

In whose favour the Muslim community will go

Let us tell you that by improving the relations with the BJP, the Muslim votes of TRS have come to an end, AIMM is also opposed to TRS. Congress’s big minority leader Abid Rasool Khan became angry with the ticket distribution in the elections and has joined the TRS, which can deficit the Congress. KCR also created a Deputy CM to please the Muslim population and also increased the reservation quota in the state.

 Anis Durrani, former secretary of the minority department of the Congress, says that there is no existence of BJP in Telangana, Muslims also understand that KCR can go with BJP. Congress is in the fight. Therefore, Congress will get the vote in elections, AIMIM’s opposition to BJP is meant to benefit the BJP itself. AIMM’s Akbaruddin Owaisi says that if we oppose the Congress then we are accused of being BJP’s B-team. We are in opposition to both Congress and BJP. Let me tell you that Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) is afraid of the fact that due to the polarization of Hindu votes, the BJP can be strong in Telangana.

The state’s voters are silent among all these things. They did not openly stand up with any party. Therefore, at the present, it cannot be clarified that the Muslim voters of the state supports whom. For this, you have to wait until December 11.
