About Marh Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Marh is a town in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir. The assembly constituency of Marh belongs to Jammu parliamentary constituency. The seat has been mostly occupied by INC. Sukh Nandan Kumar of BJP won the 2008 assembly elections and is the present MLA. He defeated Ajay Kumar Sadhotra of JKNC. Kumar bagged 18368 votes as against Sadhotra's 11787 votes.
