About Dum Dum Uttar Assembly Constituency

Dum Dum Uttar is constituency No. 110 of West Bengal legislative assembly. It is situated in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is part of Lok Sabha constituency No. 16 which is Dum Dum. It is an unreserved constituency.

According to the Election Commission of India, this constituency has 2,04,245 registered voters. It has 1,05,239 male and 99,006 female voters.

Chandrima Bhattacharya of Trinamool Congress won this seat in the 2011 assembly elections. She defeated her nearest competition, Rekha Goswami of CPI(M), by a margin of 19,026 votes. Bhattacharya won 94,676 votes while Goswami got 75,650. The voter turnout was 86.82%.
