AAP Government Suspends 2 Senior Officials; Delhi Bureaucrats Go On Mass Leave
Delhi government bureaucrats went on mass leave today to protest against the suspension of two senior officials by the Delhi government for refusing to sign some files. In order to show solidarity with the suspended officials, around 70 IAS officers have gone on half-day leave This is likely to affect the government's plans for the odd-even car scheme to be launched on 1 January. Election Commission Demands Probe into Poll-fixing Allegations Against Chhattisgarh CM
Only few days after a leading news daily reported phone conversations between some Chhattisgarh Congress leaders and close associates of Chief Minister Raman Singh regarding the withdrawal of Congress candidate Manturam Pawar in the September 2014 Antargarh by-election, the Election Commission of India asked Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary to conduct an inquiry and submit the report by 7 January.
