BJP's Navjot Singh Sidhu Resigns From Rajya Sabha, May Join AAP
Former cricketer and BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu quit as Rajya Sabha MP today. Sidhu's official statement said that 'with closure of every window leading to Punjab' his position as Rajya Sabha MP was a 'mere burden'.The move has fanned speculations that Sidhu is leaving BJP to join Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in preparation for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections early next year. It is estimated that he is going to be the chief ministerial face of Aam Aadmi Party if he joins it. PM Modi Pitches For GST On Eve of Parliament's Monsoon Session
