Twitter went into frenzied mode on Karnataka elections resultsThe social-media platform Twitter saw more than 30 lakh tweets registered related to Karnataka Assembly polls in the last three weeks for a period from April 25-May 15. The number games begins for BJPIn a late political drama, the results of Karnataka Assembly elections threw a fractured mandate for a hung assembly, though BJP emerged as the single largest party with 104 seats but falling 8 seats short of clear majority to form the government. The BJP reached Governor's residence yesterday seeking time for the party to prove its majority on the floor of the house and form the next government in Karnataka. The BJP called for Legislature Party meeting this morning at the party office in Bengaluru, where Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar, Dharmendra Pradhan and JP Nadda were present to elect B S Yeddyurappa as the House leader.
