  • BJP to File Case for 'Extremist' Remark
BJP's Karnataka unit is all set to lodge a complaint about defamation of party by Siddaramaiah. The Congress CM earlier in a press meeting accused BJP and RSS of harboring extremists. BJP's Suresh Kumar criticised the CM's comment and stated that he called the party with an extremist without having any proof.

Siddaramaiah remark came after BJP demanded the ban of Popular Front of India (PFI), a Muslim organization. Earlier, a few members of the organization were charged with the murder of an RSS worker.

However, the saffron party was seen to do sort of backpedaling later on. On Thursday, January 12, the party molded its comment and labelled only RSS and Bajrang Dal as extremists.
