  • Akhilesh is Emerging Star of Politics, We All are Like a Family: Shatrughan Sinha

    BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha and former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha targeted the Modi government today in Jay Prakash Narayan's Jubilee program organized at the Samajwadi Party (SP) headquarters in Lucknow. Shatrughan Sinha said on Rafael Deal that the central government had to answer, while Yashwant Sinha said that the situation in the country at present is worse than the Emergency.

    Shatrughan Sinha said that "power is the medium of service and not of the bed of roses, if speaking truth is a sin, then I am rebellious." He further added "Junking and mere promises will not work. The country wants to know about Rafael Deal. Why was the one-year-old company HL removed and why the deal was transferred to a company which did not even know about it. He added that today politics in India is a 'One Man Show' and the army of two men. At this time there is no honesty and transparency. Akhilesh Yadav is an emerging star of the country's politics and today is the powerful and famous leader of Uttar Pradesh. No matter Akhilesh should give me a chance or I give Akhilesh a chance, we all are like a family.

  • BJP Either Build Ram Temple Before 2019 or Quit: Shiv Sena

    The Ram temple issue is once again gathering headlines before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Shiv Sena has also become active on this issue. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will be visiting Ayodhya soon. Before that, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut is visiting Ayodhya on Thursday. He targeted BJP on this issue. He said that either the BJP build Ram temple before 2019 or else quit the power.

    Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that the Ram temple case is not connected to Afghanistan or Pakistan. It is connected to Ram. He has demanded that the Ordinance should now be brought about the Ram temple. This matter will not settle in the court.

    He said that this is a political, religious and national matter. As the ordinance came on triple talaaq and SC-ST Act, the same would be the ordinance in PMO within 24 hours if PM Modi wants. The responsibility of building Ram temple is of the BJP and its government. His government is in both Uttar Pradesh and the Center. If the ordinance does not come on the issue, they have no right to stay in power.

  • Narendra Modi Should Resign: Rahul Gandhi
    Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resignation for irregularities in the Rafale deal at a press conference in the party headquarters. He has said that PM Modi is corrupt and should resign as his name comes in this matter.
     
    Rahul said that through this deal PM Modi has put 30 thousand crore rupees in Anil Ambani's pocket. The Congress President said that PM Modi had come to power on the issue of corruption and he himself is now battling these allegations. He has been accused, and that he should speak on this matter. He said that if PM cannot speak on this matter then he should resign.
     
    Rahul also questioned why Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has gone to France this time. He said that Rafale  Deal is a case of corruption in the defence sector. All things are in front of this corruption to understand. Gradually, this deal is going on. The Congress President said that in this case, the Congress had made a JPC demanding the investigation. But BJP moved away from this. 
     
    Rahul says that in this case, former President of France had earlier said that the Indian Prime Minister had said that Anil Ambani should get Rafale 's contract. Now, the company's senior executive has said that it was a condition to make Anil Ambani's company a partner in this deal.

  • Political Parties Had to Keep Promises Mentioned in the Manifesto: ECI

    The Election Commission of India has asked all the political parties in Madhya Pradesh to submit at least three copies of their Election Manifesto to the Election Commission.

    Election Manifesto, which has for long been a hidden weapon during the election period. However, for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, the Election Commission has directed all parties to not mention any promises that they are unable to fulfil.

    According to the Election Commission, political parties need to submit three copies within 3 days of the release of their election Manifesto to the Election Commission of India.

    This decision of the Election Commission is greeted with varied response from different parties. On one hand, Madhya Pradesh Minister Rampal Singh has stated that his government has done work manifold than what they have mentioned in their election manifesto. On the other hand, Pankaj Chaturvedi of Congress has said that his party has always abided by this.
