  • Don’t Consider Parties that Do Politics of Vote Bank: PM

    Lakhs of people were waiting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the scorching sun on Saturday in the Ajmer city of Rajasthan.  The phrase, ‘’He came, he saw and he concurred’’ depicted in this rally as PM started with his speech in the local Rajasthani language to woo the voters and was received with great enthusiasm. He urged public not to go with parties that follow politics of vote bank. He was addressing a rally at the culmination of ‘Gaurav Yatra’ organised by chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhra Raje in Ajmer on Saturday.

    Modi started his speech and wished the public in local language. With his familiar style, he left no stone unturned to praise BJP and its work in Rajasthan and of Vasundhara Raje. He compared local residents with deities and said that BJP believes in sharing their work with public unlike other parties and in following ‘’Sarvajan hitay, Sarvajhan sukhaye’ policy. He said some parties follow policy of vote bank and divide the posts accordingly. He openly blamed Congress to carry such policy from last 60 years in the country. He urged public not to consider parties that follow politics of vote bank. Before that Rajasthan government announced free electricity supply for farmers in Rajasthan.

  • Assembly Election Dates Announced, 3 States to have Polling in Single Phase

    The Election Commission has announced dates of assembly elections in four states - in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram on Saturday. Election Commissioner OP Rawat addressed a press conference unveiling the dates of upcoming assembly elections 2018. The elections in Rajasthan and Telangana will be held on 7 November and in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram on 28 November. Chhattisgarh will have polling in two sessions namely on 12 and 20 November 2018. The results will be declared on 11 December 2018.

  • PM Modi to Contest From Puri in Lok Sabha Elections!

    Odisha BJP wants Prime Minister to contest from Puri constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. Odisha BJP president Basant Panda said that the state union has given a proposal to PM Narendra Modi to contest from Puri Lok Sabha Constituency in 2019. ''But the Parliamentary Board of our party will take a final call on the proposal. He further said that Modi contested from Varanasi in 2014 and won it. Varanasi is the famous spiritual place of the country. Similarly, Jagannath Dham Puri is the world famous worshipping place. We hope that he will agree to our proposal and represent from Puri, the abode of lord Jagannath. He further said that if we go by the mood of the people, our country will get majority in the assembly elections in 2019. We will get more seats than our target of 120.

  • Election Dates in MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram to be Announced Today

    The Election Commission will today announce the dates of assembly election in four states, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. According to the sources, date of election in Telangana is also likely to be announced. As soon as the date announcement will be done by the EC, Model Code of Conduct will be into force.
