Polling for JMC (Jalgaon Municipal Corporation) and SMKMC (Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation) is due today and counting will take place on 3 August. BJP's local leadership would be deeply affected by this. It would also test BJP's popularity in the west of Maharashtra which is a traditional stronghold of Congress and NCP.
