There are 29,696 voters in the constituency of which 26,830 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 90.35%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 85.35% Christians, 13.4% Hindus and 0.48% Muslims. Martin M Danggo candidate belonging to Congress party won the seat in last election defeating Pius Marwein of United Democratic Party by 2,002 Votes.
