There are 32,556 voters in the constituency of which 27,196 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 83.54%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 89.31% Christians, 0.67% Hindus and 0.24% Muslims.

Lambor Malngiang candidate belonging to Independent Party won the seat in last election defeating Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit of Hill State People�s Democratic Party by 76 Votes.
