About Mannarkkad Assembly Constituency

Mannarkkad is constituency No. 54 of Kerala legislative assembly. It is situated in Palakkad district and comes under the Palakkad Lok Sabha constituency. It is an unreserved seat.

According to the Election Commission of India, Mannarkkad has 1,66,275 registered voters. It comprises 80,384 male and 85,891 female registered voters.

In the 2011 assembly elections, Muslim League candidate N. Samsudheen won this seat by securing 60,191 votes. Samsudheen defeated his nearest contender, V. Chamunni of CPI, by a narrow margin of 8,270 votes. The voter turnout was 72.90 %.
