About Bawani Khera Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Bawani Khera is a city in Bhiwani district of Haryana. The assembly constituency of Bawani Khera falls under Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. This assembly constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Castes. As of 2011 India census, Bawani Khera had a population of 1,27,086. Ramkishan Fauji contested from the constituency as a member of Haryana Vikash Party (HVP) in 2000 and won the elections. He won by 22134 votes from his nearest rival. After the merger of HVP into INC he again contested the election from Bawani Khera assembly constituency in 2005 and won. In the 2009 assembly elections he won for the third consecutive time by a margin of 6273 votes.
