About Bawal Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Bawal is a municipality in the Rewari district of Haryana. Bawal is an emerging industrial town as a big industrial growth centre is being developed by HSIIDC here. As of 2011 India census, Bawal had a population of 1,30,113. The assembly constituency of Bawal belongs to Gurgaon parliamentary constituency. This assembly constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Castes. Rameshwar Dayal of INLD won the 2009 assembly elections and is the present MLA from the constituency.He defeated Shakuntla Bhagwaria of INC with a huge margin.
