About Kondli Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Kondli is a small village in East Delhi district. Kondli is famous for its wholesale market. The assembly constituency of Kondli is a part of East Delhi parliamentary constituency. It was formed in 2008 after the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India. The constituency is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC). Amrish Singh Gautam of INC, who won the 2008 assembly elections, was defeated by AAP's Manoj Kumar in the 2013 assembly elections.
