Shortcomings of Yogi Government :

Since every coin has two sides. Though the newly elected Yogi Government has initiated several measures and schemes for the benefit of the people of Uttar Pradesh. But the challenges before the Bharatiya Janta Party led Uttar Pradesh government are innumerable. There comes a huge gap between planning and making laws to the their execution. The ground reality differs from what we see on papers. Yogi Government has been criticized by the opposition for not full filling its promises. The challenges before the Yogi Government are as follows-

  • Amidst the farm loan wavier, the BJP led Uttar Pradesh government is facing the challenge of implementation of 7th pay commission which would require 34,000 crore rupees.

  • The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) had promised in its election manifesto that it would provide laptops to students, which is now seen as another challenge for the government. Yet no date has been announced by the Yogi Government to launch this scheme.

  • Innumerable instances of law and order problems in the state of Uttar Pradesh is yet another challenge for Yogi Adityanath’s government, since they already say that they have inherited “Jungle Raj” from the former S.P. government.

  • The recent clashes between people of various communities and violence in the name of cow protection along-with violence pertaining to the Hindutva ideology adds to the shortcomings of the Yogi Government. Read Elections News
