  • Modi has come up with a unique idea to send his maiden speech on Independence Day to all government employees in each and every corner of the country. He has asked to create a database which will contain the phone numbers and email ids of all government employees. The speech will be sent to them directly by message.
  • To deal with the scarcity of electricity in the villages ruled by the BJP, government is planning to keep aside a sum of Rs 50,000 crore.
  • A bad news for the bureaucrats – now it is not easier for them to travel abroad. They would have to give a strong reason to the government for their travel. The decision is taken to cut down on the expenditure.
